“Excellent fun and history!”

My husband, parents, and I went on the Pub Crawl offered by this company. It was a great time!! We would definately do it again and recommend it to all! It was a fun way to see Harvard Square and have a blast. We went to 5 different bars where we got a drink and appetizer! At each location we got some history of the area and bar itself. Then while at each location we got more knowledge, fun toasts, and great company. Our tour guide played a character called Richard. He was very entertaining and knowledgable. We also had a girl who played Martha Fuller who was shadowing our guide. She was also amazing and very talented. They were both so entertaing and fun! This is a must do for anyone going to Harvard Square! They also offer several other tours. If a Pub Crawl is not your thing, I think all their tours would be excellent!

“Spooked In and Around Harvard Yard”

Posted on & filed under Testimonials.

Our guide Lauren and her persona Theresa Larson painted our private tour group an informative, thoughtful, and eerie canvas of Harvard Square past, several centuries ago. Twenty-one of us took the Haunted Harvard Ghost Tour on an almost-full-moon, 50-degree night, picture perfect for ghost stories and walking for 1 1/2 hours. Well worth the money. A great way to learn about and walk around Harvard Yard and its creepy past.

“Just amazing!”

Our guide Betsy was just amazing- she conducted the tour with such energy and told stories with such animation that the 90 mins passed really quickly. Great engaging tour in which I learnt interesting tidbits about Cambridge/Harvard history (which I am sure can’t be found in history books)

“A great 90 minute tour with an amazing guide”

Unsure as to what to do once we entered Harvard Square my wife and I both heard a young woman with great enthusiasm telling us of this tour. Once we were assured Betsy would be our official guide we set off on our way, and what a trip it was. Her attention to detail, humor, pace and recall were all excellent. We can not speak highly enough of her or her abilities…the 90 minutes passed in a flash and we were only left wishing we had more time.

She even pointed us in the direction of our lunch stop, which was also excellent…Betsy was perfect.

“Historical Harvard Tour…a must-do!”

Posted on & filed under Testimonials.

…The tour was definitely a highlight of our vacation. We were very fortunate to have Margaret Fuller (aka Lauren) as our guide. She made the tour so interesting and fun and we were really impressed with her enthusiasm, despite the fact that it was her last tour of the day and our group was small… We asked a lot of questions and Lauren had answers for them all. Even when our tour was technically over, Lauren spent some extra time visiting with us and giving suggestions for other things to do while we were in the area. She was a doll and we would highly recommend this tour (and being escorted by Margaret Fuller) to anyone who is interested in the history of the area shared by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide.

“Perfect tour!”

Tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide, well-dressed and purely enthusiastic, told us so much interesting and even breathtaking facts about Cambridge, Harvard and American history, that we really traveled both in Cambridge and in history. Great sense of humor and wonderful artistic speech just added this great tour.

“Haunted Tour Around Harvard Square”

My fiancé and I went on a haunted tour in Cambridge on Sunday (10/7)… We were on Miss Mary Bean’s (Kathy’s) tour. She was a darling… Her stories were chilling, heartbreaking and even a bit amusing at times. However she told them all quite artfully. She is quite a story teller. Although a haunted tour, this was also a historical tour. We learned something! Nothing is worse than a campy tour. My fiancé and I enjoyed this tour as well as Miss Bean’s company.

“Haunted Harvard Tour – Informative and Fun!!!”

Posted on & filed under Testimonials.

My wife and I took the Haunted Harvard tour on Saturday night and it was a lot of fun. Our guide was in the character of Ephraim Littlefield and he was terrific. He carries a shovel around with him because his character was a grave digger/janitor for the Harvard Medical School in the 19th century. It was pretty funny walking through Harvard Square and the Harvard campus on a Saturday night with him hitting his shovel on the ground and watching everyone stare at us wondering who the strange guy was….

All in all , this is a great, fun and affordable way to spend a night this time of year. One of the best values in Harvard Square to be sure. I would highly recommend it!
