On September 12th, We had a two-hour walking tour with an actress who started guiding from July 4th this year. She was full of passion… I encourage people to take this tour, Cambridge was such a lovely quiet neighborhood in early fall!

PS. Walking tour is cheaper in Boston than where we are from. So don’t miss it!!

“Tour of Cambridge & Harvard Square”

Posted on & filed under Testimonials.

If you are in Cambridge, this is a great way to spend 90 minutes. Our guide (Erin) was in costume and stayed in character for the whole time, except at the end when she sang us an aria from La Boheme – what a voice! She is studying opera and stagecraft – and it shows.

The tour of Cambridge and (part of) Harvard was fun and informative… She was excellent and we really enjoyed our tour… The 90 minutes flew by in the warm September afternoon with a very pleasant group, some of whom said they would come back to do the other tours…

It’s first tour of Harvard for a reason. We had a wonderful time with Margaret Fuller. We wanted to walk around Harvard and learn a bit more about it, and walking tours are always an excelent idea… We had Margaret Fuller as our guide and she was great, even with the heat of mid august… Really enjoyed this tour and all the stories she explained us :)) really go for it if you go to Harvard…

“Frederick Rindge”

…Our guide, “Frederick Rindge,” was completely adorable, obviously knowledgeable, and immanently entertaining. This is the kind of tour you want to take because it’s full of personal details (of the people being highlighted and the sq itself) and makes history immediate and relevant, which is the best way, imo, to get people interested… I really recommend this tour to…yeah, I kind of cringe to say it, anyone. Unless you’re a member of the Cambridge Historical Society, you’ll learn something on this tour. And even if you’re jaded and learn nothing new because you knew it all when you were five, well, I guarantee you’ll be entertained by Mr. Rindge.

“Frederick Hastings Rindge”

I would recommend this tour to anyone! I am so glad I went. You get more than your monies worth. I mean $15 for a two hour tour! I paid twice that for a 80 min walking tour in Boston the day before. This one was much more entertaining and interesting! My guide was well versed in the history and told stories not just facts. I had “Frederick Hastings Rindge” but I am sure they are all just as good…If you are planning on spending the day in Cambridge I highly suggest this tour.

Our tour of Harvard with Julia Howe was brilliant. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Harvard and the City of Cambridge, and her personality and humor ensured that the tour was highly entertaining as well as educational. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

“An Excellent way to See and Learn About Harvard”

I took this tour as part of my Super Tours Trolley Tour. It was well worth the time. The tour gives you a historical look at Harvard and how this famous university was created. It is a walking tour that takes roughly 90 minutes. All the major historical sites are visited and an excellent narration provided. . . A definite must-do if you are in the Harvard area.
