Hi Folks. Due to the massive and dangerous manhunt for the villain responsible for the deaths in Boston, all tours are suspended for today, April 19th, 2013. Please check in again tomorrow, pray for all the victims, including the MIT officer whose family must be devastated, and stay safe today. Until soon,

Thanks to everyone who supported us in our inaugural season. We could not be more thrilled about the lessons we learned this year, and our exciting plans for next year.

Although we are no longer running daily public tours of Harvard and Old Cambridge, Private Tours for groups, families, and schools are still available through the colder months. We also have our Pub Crawl, which is currently available on Tuesday and Sunday nights. Come join us for a few drinks, tons of stories, and the lovely heat of the indoors!

Also hopefully coming soon and INDOORS! will be a tour of Harvard’s Museum of Natural History. This is not a stop to be missed on your trip to Boston, and our guides will help you find the amazing treasures, labeled and kept secret, in the galleries of this incredible museum.

If you’d like to help, volunteer, or even become a tour guide, we’re using our off-season to build even more onto our fledgling company. “Fun and interesting”

I was there by myself and when I saw the girls in the historical costumes and thought that was really creative. I bought a ticket and got to met knew people and most importantly very interesting facts that I didn’t know about Harvard and Cambridge, and the famous people that passed through here. Awesome tour. Highly recommend it!

“I enjoyed the tour despite bad weather”

A big thanks to Thomas Wentworth Higginson (a.k.a. John) for braving the bitter cold and strong winds to give a tour to our Meetup group today. I, for one, really learned a lot, and I enjoyed the tour, despite the bad weather.

“Fun and historical!”

…I had a lot of fun and did not even notice 2 hours fly by. I have been on several ghost tours, yet this one was definitely the most captivating. The guides are all dressed in character and very energetic / animated…Our tour guide was Kaitlin, or rather Mrs. Elizabeth Parkman. She was a vivid storyteller making each of her stories grasping. I also enjoyed how much real history I leaned on this tour… But I do not want to give to much away, so go take the tour yourself!

“Wonderful way to tour Harvard”

My wife and I ordered a haunted tour of Harvard via Living Social. Left at 7:30 for 1hr and 30 minute tour and really enjoyed ourselves. Got to see Harvard up close and personal on a beautiful night. Guide’s were energetic, entertaining and personable. The haunted part of Harvard exposed us to some fun stories that you might otherwise not ever hear about Harvard. Great October entertainment. Highly recommend.

Hi Folks. Due to the rain, we’re taking the day off. The crowds have been getting lighter as the days grow darker and colder, and it just seems like the rain didn’t want us to entertain today. Tours cancelled November 8th

Due to the high chance of rain, the snow on the ground, the wind in the air, and the cold we all forgot about last winter, all tours today will be cancelled. Come by this weekend for our ghost tour, or check out our Pub Crawl next Tuesday which is 95% indoors. Come share a beer and some stories for a great deal. For $50 you get 5 drinks, 5 appetizers, and two hours of guided banter and old-timey toasts. Or bear the cold with us tomorrow when we’ll be back at it. Until then,

“Haunted Harvard is a not to be missed gem”

Kathy was great (Mary Bean). She is animated, intense, fun and very entertaining. She has a gift for telling a fine story and it shows. This is a great way to spend 90 mintues on and off the Harvard Campus in the dark of night. The tales are all founded in historical fact (mostly) and there’s enough detail to give each story a spine tingling spin. Harvard is beautiful and even a bit eerie at night, and seeing this different side of the campus is a treat not to be missed. this is not a hokey fun house tour, there’s nobody jumping out at you, but for 12+ kids of all ages, we all had a blast. Park at Alewife and take the T in, eat at a famous burger place like Charlies or Mr. Barklays and meet at the Harvard coop accross from the harvard square t stop and tourist kiosk. You wont be sorry and its a great value too!

“Excellent fun and history!”

My husband, parents, and I went on the Pub Crawl offered by this company. It was a great time!! We would definately do it again and recommend it to all! It was a fun way to see Harvard Square and have a blast. We went to 5 different bars where we got a drink and appetizer! At each location we got some history of the area and bar itself. Then while at each location we got more knowledge, fun toasts, and great company. Our tour guide played a character called Richard. He was very entertaining and knowledgable. We also had a girl who played Martha Fuller who was shadowing our guide. She was also amazing and very talented. They were both so entertaing and fun! This is a must do for anyone going to Harvard Square! They also offer several other tours. If a Pub Crawl is not your thing, I think all their tours would be excellent!

“Spooked In and Around Harvard Yard”

Our guide Lauren and her persona Theresa Larson painted our private tour group an informative, thoughtful, and eerie canvas of Harvard Square past, several centuries ago. Twenty-one of us took the Haunted Harvard Ghost Tour on an almost-full-moon, 50-degree night, picture perfect for ghost stories and walking for 1 1/2 hours. Well worth the money. A great way to learn about and walk around Harvard Yard and its creepy past.
