Thanks to everyone who supported us in our inaugural season. We could not be more thrilled about the lessons we learned this year, and our exciting plans for next year.

Although we are no longer running daily public tours of Harvard and Old Cambridge, Private Tours for groups, families, and schools are still available through the colder months. We also have our Pub Crawl, which is currently available on Tuesday and Sunday nights. Come join us for a few drinks, tons of stories, and the lovely heat of the indoors!

Also hopefully coming soon and INDOORS! will be a tour of Harvard’s Museum of Natural History. This is not a stop to be missed on your trip to Boston, and our guides will help you find the amazing treasures, labeled and kept secret, in the galleries of this incredible museum.

If you’d like to help, volunteer, or even become a tour guide, we’re using our off-season to build even more onto our fledgling company. Please don’t hesitate to contact us by clicking here, and filling out our contact sheet. Thanks again for an incredible season. We’ll see you all again in the Square in April.

Hi Folks. Due to the fragility of our outfits and the fact that tours in the rain are pretty much unpleasant for everyone, the 11:00AM and 12:00PM tours on September 30th have been cancelled. Please stay tuned for more updates. We’re still planing on opening this afternoon! Until soon,

Hi Folks. Sorry for the inconvenience, but due to our fragile outfits, and the fact that no one has fun getting soaking wet, we’ve cancelled the tours for this afternoon, Friday September 28th. Our Ghost Tour is still happening this evening, however, and tickets are available by clicking on the Buy Tickets link in the upper lefthand corner here. Thanks!

Cambridge Historical Tours, Harvard Square’s new and most popular tour company, is offering guests to Harvard Square an opportunity to explore the sinister side of the nation’s oldest University with the “Haunted Harvard” walking tour, just in time for the Halloween season.  The inaugural tour will be on August 30th starting at 7:30 at night, and tours will run every Thursday-Sunday leaving from just in front of the Harvard Coop in Harvard Square. Led by a lantern-wielding, ghoulish guide, tours will introduce guests to the saddest and sweetest ghost stories Harvard has to offer, and shock them with gruesome and gory tales of murder, mayhem, corpse robbing and pranks gone horribly awry.  Tours last approximately 90 minutes.

Ask the citizens of Cambridge about ghosts and hauntings and you’ll probably get a blank look or even a scoff of derision; Cantabridgians have little time to waste on frivolity…unless you’re in Harvard Square.  The locals in Harvard know that behind every Crimson corner lies a dark secret.  Stories of gruesome murders, dismemberments and other things that go bump in the night permeate the streets and campus.  Harvard professors have been know to explore the shadowy recesses of the yard, some even after death.

“By the time it’s over, you’ll probably be more scared of the living than the dead,” says Company Manager Chris Schultz. “The tour is a chilling anthology of macabre and frightening stories along with some of the most amusing encounters with the supernatural that you are likely to hear about anywhere.”

To celebrate the Grand Opening of the Haunted Harvard Tour, Cambridge Historical Tours is offering a Buy-One-Get-One-Free promotion for the month of September. Tickets are $15 for adults before the promotion and children under 12 are free (must be accompanied by a living adult).  Visit www.hauntedharvard.org for more details.
