Hysterical, Historical Tour of Harvard

Book This Tour For Your Group!

Stroll the country’s Classiest Campus with our Costumed guides as they tell the most fascinating tales from nearly 400 years of Harvard history. The nation’s oldest institution of higher education comes to life through captivating, hilarious, and occasionally bizarre stories. Discover things you never knew about the Titanic, rebellious pig roasts, and the mystery of why John Harvard’s foot is yellowish. Our stories will entertain history buffs and restless children alike! Come play in our yard.

Our professional storytellers are unaffiliated with Harvard University, and give you the in-depth history of the institution from an objective (occasionally humorous) historical perspective. This tour lasts just over an hour, visiting the Harvard Lampoon, the Widener Memorial Library, and the John Harvard Statue, among other famous sites. Private tours are available with advanced notice. Please call or email to find out more.

Admission for the tour is $15 for adults, $12 for students/seniors, kids 8 & under are FREE. We offer numerous discounts, so please ask us if you qualify! This tour is also available in Spanish, French, and Italian. We gather outside the Harvard Square COOP, just across the street from the Harvard Square T Stop. You can’t miss our guides in hoop skirts and top hats!
